Eli’s primary area of practice has always been trusts and estates. He represents a broad range of clients, including business owners, accountants, financial advisors, entrepreneurs, artists, and professional athletes. He often advises clients on international issues that arise in the context of estate planning.
Eli is an annual update author of the Estate and Gift Tax Chapter of CEB's California Estate Planning Treatise. He has served as the Chair of the Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Section of the San Francisco Bar Association and of the San Francisco Barristers Club. He also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge John Dearman in the Probate Department of the San Francisco Superior Court.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Eli worked with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Lusaka, Zambia and New York headquarters.
He has been identified as one of California’s Probate and Estate Planning Super Lawyers by the Super Lawyers Magazine rating service.
